Goran Jandric
Yoga Instructor
Having studied criminology at the Police Academy, Goran was first introduced to
yoga through martial arts such as karate and judo. His training in these arts
affirmed his belief that both the body and mind can be transformed through
regular practice.
Before he decided to embark on his own teacher training, Goran was actively
pursuing various workshops and seminars, expanding his understanding of yoga
under teachers like Sri Dharma Mittra, Andrei Ram, Twee Merrigan, Patrick
Beach and Nicole Carling.
Goran’s professional yoga career started in Yogahub, when he decided to
undertake 200 hours of teacher training under the guidance of his long term
teachers Sylvia Ferguson and Brian Malone.
Furthering his knowledge of Yoga is important to Goran and he has undertaken
plenty of additional trainings such as 100 hours of advanced teacher training
with Michael James Wong from Krama Yoga. On top of this 15 hours with Jim
Harrington which covered Yoga for Sports Training, and also various workshops
with Hiro Landazuri.
His practice is deeply rooted in classical Hatha style with an emphasis on good
alignment and longer holds with slow and persistent flexibility and strength
building.
Goran loves to integrate elements of various yoga methods he practiced for
years like Dharma yoga, Ashtanga, Yin or Jivamukti, offering variations of poses
for different levels, always making them easily accessible to complete beginners
and advanced practitioners.
