Prenatal Schedule
What is prenatal yoga?

Prenatal Yoga is a form of exercise and meditation where breath and specific body positions are used to help connect the mind and body.
Prenatal yoga focuses on positions that are specifically attuned to the pregnant body. It’s a great way to nurture yourself during this special time.
Benefits

Staying strong and mobile is key to a healthy pregnancy. As the belly grows and the body slowly prepares for birth, it’s nice to give yourself some extra support by focusing on strengthening the right bits. Stretching can also offer great relief & comfort during pregnancy.
Simple movement, combined with breathing techniques and meditation, can offer rejuvenation, birth prep and above all, relaxation.

Connect and share with other expecting moms and simply enjoy the ride.

More benefits to prenatal yoga:
Improve sleep and relief & comfort pregnancy symptoms
Reduce your risk of preterm labor and other complications
Stabilise your moods and manage your weight
Improve your delivery experience.
Good to know
We don't recommend starting prenatal yoga before your second trimester. It's important to stop your existing practice as well until you get a go ahead from your doctor, practicing with an experienced prenatal yoga teacher from trimester two is our only recommendation otherwise.

To get the most out of your practice, share any prenatal symptoms with your teacher at the beginning of class. They might offer extra tips, adjustments or props, as you move through yoga poses or breathing techniques.
