Luna started practicing yoga in 1998 and has been teaching since 2004. She trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) in Santa Catarina, Brazil and has completed Pregnancy Yoga Teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in the UK and with Katie Manitsas in Sydney, Australia.
Luna currently teaches hatha yoga at Yoga Dublin Studios in Ranelagh and regularly teaches outdoor yoga in the beautiful Dartmouth Square. She also runs regular yoga retreats in unique locations around Ireland with the artist Fiona Hallinan www.fraochretreats.com
Luna has been a dedicated Vipassana meditation practitioner since 2005. Influenced by her Vipassana meditation practice and her IYT training, Luna encourages students to ‘tune’ into their bodies in her classes, using asana, pranayama and meditative practices to develop corporeal awareness, inner sensitivity and an increased sense of physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
Luna also works as an academic philosopher in Trinity College Dublin.
Having trained in various forms of dance as a child and teenager, Mich discovered yoga after abandoning dance due to a back injury following a car accident. She was immediately attracted to its balance of mind, body and spirit and marvelled at the healing effects yoga had on her constant back pain.
During her yoga journey, Mich found herself attracted to the grace and precision of Pilates, in particular its focus on spinal alignment and the building of a strong, healthy core to help heal and alleviate back injuries.
Within a short of while of regular Pilates practice, all those remaining back pains from the car accident began to vanish until eventually she was pain-free. As a result, Mich became a devotee of the Pilates method and immediately after completing her yoga instructor training, trained to teach Pilates.
Mich has also trained in Pre and Post Natal Pilates, Pilates for Osteoporosis, Pilates for Spinal Injuries, Pilates with Props, Level 3 Advanced Matwork and Reformer 1 & 2.
In January 2013 she trained in BarreConcept which she found to be the perfect blend of all her great loves in life--ballet, yoga and Pilates. She went on to complete several other ballet barre training courses, including Pilates at the Barre.
Mich is also a qualified massage therapist, a Zumba Fitness Instructor and recently qualified in Pole Dance Fitness. She won the title of Pole Dance Ireland Princess 2015.
Ross originally hails from New Zealand where he trained in Judo, Aikido and Kung Fu. A chance purchase while on holiday in the UK in 1997 led him to a Tai Chi Chuan class with Master John Ding, he ended up staying 10 years longer than expected.Since 1999 Ross has taught remote classes and regularly assisted Master Ding in classes at the two London JDA, (John Ding Academy), branches. Furthermore Ross has assisted Master Ding in instruction at single, two and seven day seminars/retreats, in the UK Ireland, Belgium and Germany. Ross is a fully qualified Instructor within JDA and is permitted to run classes independently.In March 2007 Ross decided to take his Tai Chi Chuan full time and has been running ongoing Tai Chi Chuan classes across Dublin. He has also been providing one to one training and running a series of one day seminars that explore the principles and concepts more deeply.Through retreats and personal instruction with Master Ding, Ross continues to train and so deepen his knowledge and skill in Yang style Tai Chi Chuan.Master John Ding is the 6th Generation of the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan lineage and is the founder of the John Ding Academy. He is the first Disciple of the late Master Ip Tai Tak and is one of the few people to have studied under all three formal disciples of the late Grandmaster Yang Sau Chung.
Saffron Hennigan teaches baby massage classes at Yoga Dublin. Her classes allow mothers to learn how to massage their babies and also have a fun morning out. Saffron tries to incorporate her knowledge of reflexology and her experience from her 3 daughters into the classes. She likes to focus on helping babies relax and easing colic and wind. Each class finishes with some baby yoga and a cup of tea!
13 years ago Saffron qualified as a reflexologist. She specialises in maternity reflexology but also sees clients for regular treatments. With each treatment Saffron tries to use her skills as a Naturopath, Homeopath and former Pregnancy Yoga teacher to advise her clients. As well as helping clients with the normal pregnancy complaints, she treats clients who have digestive issues, problems with the urinary tract, migraines, colds and sinuses and female issues. Michelle was introduced to yoga while on a tennis scholarship in America in the mid 90’s. At the time yoga was largely unheard of in Ireland but she recognised its benefits to athletes in prevention of injury and also building up strength and confidence within. It was several years later while working in media in London that Michelle was reintroduced to yoga. She made the decision to train as a yoga instructor and completed her training in Hatha yoga in 2006.
Michelle’s teaching places emphases on a deep connection with the breath, stillness and clarity of the mind, strength, balance and a mindful flow of movement. She teaches dynamic and gentle classes depending on the needs of her classes Michelle is also a qualified prenatal, mum and baby yoga and kids yoga teacher. Her mum and baby classes in Ranelagh are divided between mum and baby. For the mums we focus on rebuilding core strength, toning pelvic floor muscles and strengthening up the lower back and shoulders. We work with the breath and, when allowed!, even enjoy some quiet relaxation. The babies then enjoy some wonderful hip openers and stretching followed by songs and lots of fun.

Caroline is an IYA 200 hours certified teacher. She completed her teacher training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Dave Curtis in November 2007 in Dublin. She has also trained in gentle Yin Yoga with Sara Powers in London. Caroline teaches a Vinyasa Flow style class with emphasis on correct alignment for individual bodies. She believes that yoga should always be enjoyable and fun and that we listen to our bodies and practice yoga and living with mindfulness and joy. Caroline is also qualified to teach Pregnancy Yoga, she completed her training in The Elbow Room, Dublin in 2008 and thoroughly enjoys helping women through the various stages of their pregnancy.
Cathy Coughlan started her career as a dancer, studying full time in Britain from 95 to 98. Her qualifications include advanced examinations in RAD ballet and ISTD modern dance. On her return to Ireland she continued to work in the arts completing a Fine Art BA at the National College of Art and Design. After the birth of her first daughter in 2003 Cathy discovered the transforming qualities of yoga and pilates. She found it a safe and enjoyable way to realign the body, regain her muscle tone and find her center. She qualified as a Pilates mat instructor in 2005 and as a yoga instructor the following year. During and after the birth of her second daughter in 2009 she qualified as a pre- natal yoga/pilates instructor. Above all, Cathy believes that the way to achieve balance is to challenge and understand the physical body. Cathy's classes are precise with an emphasis on body awareness, co-ordination and control.

She has been practicing Yoga for the past 10 Years. Her interest in becoming a teacher derived from her travels to India in 2004. Olwyn has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and during that time has embraced how her style has evolved from Ashtanga to Vinyasa Flow. Now she is enjoying the wonderful complement to all her studies that Anusara brings both personally; to her practice and to her teaching.
Over the years she has had the good fortune to travel and study with some of the world’s best known teachers. After completing her teacher training in 2004 at Yoga Vidya Dham in India she went on to further her training with Shiva Rea, along the way doing classes and workshops with Pattabhi Jois, Baron Baptiste to name a few.
Now a mother to Maia, last minute trips to the US and India have had to end. She couldn’t feel more blessed that so many wonderful teachers are choosing to come to Dublin so her yoga journey can continue.
Sinead has been teaching yoga in Dublin since, 2001. Since that time she has constinoulsy expanded her knowledge through continued learning such as; On going Yoga Teacher Training with well over 800 hours to date; Completing an ITEC Diploma in Diet and Nutrition & Anatomy and Physiology in 2004; Keeping up to date with development in optimum nutrition; Sinead also retreats to a 10-day silent meditation course once or twice a year. She enjoys sharing insights and knowledge she has gained with others through her work. She qualified as a Holistic Health Coach in February 2013.
Her style of yoga is a steady pace of Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on a meditation that focuses, grounds and centres body, mind and soul. Cara has been practising yoga for 9 years. She began her journey into yoga when she realised that working in the Corporate World was simply not for her and she wanted more out of life. Her love of exercise which saw her with many injuries over the years, led her onto a different path. She says she was the most inflexible girl in the class but dedicated practice and patience has heightened her awareness of postures and the breath.
Her interest in yoga has developed over the last few years as her pace of life began to slow down and becoming a Mum to a beautiful little baby girl, Darcy, has meant that her practice and teaching has changed.
She completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certificate with the YTTC in December 2009 and is currently studying the prenatal teacher training course with The Elbow Room. She is also studying Yin Teacher Training with Josh Summers and will have completed the course in June 2017. She completed her diploma in Eating Distress Practitioner Skills with the Marino Therapy Centre in June 2015.
She has been teaching yoga for seven years and is especially interested in "breath-synchronized movement," and the yoga she teaches offers sequences of poses that will move students through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Cara teaches a dynamic flowing style of yoga class but comes back to deep restoratives and yin monthly through each term cycle. Jan Duffy believes that yoga should be fun and lighthearted – a place to find peace and balance. Her philosophy comes from personal practice and from studying with great teachers.

Ann attended her first yoga class at the age of nineteen. It was some years later before she developed a more dedicated practice. She completed her teacher training course with David Curtis in 2010.
