Sibylle

 
Sibylle is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and founder of the Yoga Lodge in Peissenberg. After she finished her B.A. in international business, she moved to Dublin, Ireland where she worked in corporate strategy and marketing for a number of years. It was during those years when she was introduced to yoga and began to travel the world to study with master teachers such as David Life, Sharon Gannon, David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, Elena Brower, Manorama and others.
 
She was astonished by its impact on her life; something began to shift deep inside of her. Powered by that experience Sibylle decided to pass those teachings on and became a certified Yoga teacher in 2005. She went on to study directly under master teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York and received her Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Certification in May 2009. Since then Sibylle qualified as a massage therapist, a La Stone Therapist and continues to deepen her studies in alignment based Yoga Systems. After teaching several years in Dublin she moved back to her hometown where she opened the Yoga Lodge, a local yoga studio in southern Germany. She now divides her time between Germany and Ireland where she continues to teach classes, workshops & retreats.
 
Sibylle's classes are challenging, dynamic and precise. Known for her passionate and down-to-earth style of teaching, Sibylle integrates flowing sequences, precise alignment, meditation, intention and the philosophical aspects of yoga. Her classes are designed to make you laugh, sweat and continuously re-discover your own potential. It is her intention to inspire your heart to create tangible change on and off the yoga mat, so you can live your life with more health & happiness.

  • Advance and refine your practice. 

    Our most advanced and playful class is a sixty-minute deep practice for teachers and students.
     
    This is a dynamic and supportive environment to explore alignment and the more subtle aspects of the postures. This class emphasizes awareness and mindfulness and will challenge you both physically and mentally.
     
    This advanced class is for students and teachers who have a regular and strong practice.
     
    Not for beginners.

  • PRE-BOOKING ESSENTIAL
     
    Start your day in an energizing way with an earlybird yoga class from 7-8am. This class will ensure that you start your day with a spring in your step.

    The class will be vinyasa flow, suitable for beginners or those looking for a yoga class to start their day! So whether you want to stretch before work, or just start your day early with a nice class, come along.

  • Yoga 1-2
  • This class is for you, if you are……
    ……….ready or curious to MOVE BEYOND LEVEL 1 or have PREVIOUS YOGA EXPERIENCE.

    Level 1-2 is designed to take you deeper into your practice by introducing asanas which will challenge you equally on strength & flexibility, so you can discover true harmony in body & mind.

    Each class combines a dynamic vinyasa practice with meditation, hands-on alignment, basic yoga philosophy, deep relaxation…and some good sounds!

    As we suggest more challenging variations as your practice develops, this is a great place for you to laugh, play and grow in your own time.

  • Level 2 classes are designed to take you deeper into your practice by introducing asanas which will challenge you equally on strength & flexibility, so you can discover true harmony in body & mind.

  • Yoga BASICS Workshop
  • Suitable for all levels but especially designed for people new to yoga.
     
    This workshop is a must if you are new to Yoga but is highly recommended for anyone who wishes to fine-tune their practice and get more out of their regular classes.
     
    Basics will be broken down into bite-able chunks, so you can develop a better understanding of the postures, of the techniques involved and of your own postural habits. Learn about common mistakes and how to avoid them so you can build a stronger, more supple body right from the start.
     
    We go slow so that you can learn and implement the tools to safely develop your yoga practice and grow in confidence that you are doing the postures correctly. You’ll learn how to modify postures to better suit you and your body. You’ll learn how to breathe correctly and how to match the breath to your movement to create more fluidity and reduce tension.
     
    There will be time to ask any questions you may have and receive individual feedback on your practice.
