Stasys

Stasys is Holistic, Deep tissue, sports and orthopedic massage therapist. He has always been an active person taking part in a varied range of sports and events. He trains a lot, to help keep up his fitness levels so he can meet most demanding challenges in life. He loves football, cycling, basketball, tennis and any adventurous activities that might come his way.

Stasys studied through the Holistic College Dublin which is a registered provider for F.E.T.A.C. and I.T.E.C. awards and qualified with Diploma in Holistic massage.

Throughout his time in the fitness and massage industry Stasys felt he wanted to help clients more. He learned through articles, experienced trainers and athletes how valuable sports massage could be to them and the general public with its many benefits ranging from relieving stress, strain, tension, postural imbalances and chronic pain as well as preventing injury and enhancing rehabilitation.

For that reason Stasys qualified with Diploma in Sports massage with Distinction.

Stasys studied advanced orthopedic massage, a unique multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain and sports injuries.

The benefits of Sports Massage Therapy are becoming more widely recognised and understood by the general public as a valuable form of treatment. Sports Massage can be applied to everyone and not just sports people.

Stasys takes an entirely different approach to treatment of chronic pain than what most massage practitioners are currently using in their practice.

Conducting a full musculoskeletal examination, Stasys will assess the body’s functionality, examining the muscles to work toward a thorough diagnosis of what may be causing any discomfort. An accompanying deep tissue, sports and orthopedic massage will strive to get recovery going via the realignment muscle layers, loosening of connective tissues, and relief of physical tension.

Prior to dealing with chronic pain in any other area of the body, Stasys addresses pelvic stabilization techniques. Deep pelvic contractions can cause distortions throughout the entire body. This is why pelvic stabilization is the key to structural balance.

To maintain structural balance around each joint in our bodies, Stasys teaches the client to stretch chronically shortened muscle groups and gives precise exercises to strengthen overstretched or chronically weak opposing muscle groups.
