Professional Background: Brenda qualified with an honors degree in Science(Biochemistry) from Trinity College Dublin. She then pursued her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine by studying Acupuncture for three years with the Acupuncture Foundation, Milltown, Dublin. After achieving her diploma in Acupuncture she did further post graduate study in a hospital in China affiliated with Nanjing University. She studied under the professional guidance of Dr Lu. She has since completed a course in the UK on treating women during pregnancy with Acupuncture. This course was given by Debra Betts, the renowned midwife and acupuncturist from New Zealand.Services offered: Brenda offers treatments of Acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, Chinese dietary advice and can provide her patients with Western Herbs. Conditions treated: Brenda specialises in the treatment of infertility, menstrual disorders, pregnancy and menopausal syndrome as well as a variety of acute/chronic pain, sport injuries, migraine, chronic fatigue, stress, anxiety, insomnia and arthritis.Registered: Brenda is a fully registered practitioner with the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA) of Ireland.
