Kerrie was first introduced to yoga through a dance module in College, where a 'Sun Salutation' was taught as part of the class warm-up. Intrigued be the sequence of movements that linked so beautifully with the breath, she decided to try a yoga class and has been practicing ever since. Her increasing fascination with all of yoga led her to complete her 200hr teacher training certificate in the Yoga Room in 2015.
Kerrie has recently returned from a trip to India, where she practiced Iyengar yoga with Usha Devi. She likes to focus on correct alignment but then finding a freedom within that shape, using breath and mind to help create that space and freedom. Kerrie believes her teaching style is a mix of all the wonderful teachers she has. She is a warm and lively teacher.
