Caragh Egan

Caragh Egan has been teaching yoga since 2003. Having initially qualified as a teacher through the Yoga Therapy and Training Centre in Belfast, she has gone on to complete Donna Farhi's advanced teacher training, the Sivananda teacher training intensive in Kerala. In 2008 she studied with Shiva Rea and it is this that inspires her hatha flow classes.

Caragh qualified as a prenatal yoga teacher in 2004, completing the Birthlight diploma in perinatal teaching. In 2007, she further increased her knowledge of prenatal yoga by completing the Elbow Room perinatal yoga teacher training program.

 

Kanta Barrios

Kanta’s first experience of yoga was at the age of six in her hometown Mexico City. She spent 12 years as a long term resident student of yoga, meditation, and philosophy in Siddha Yoga Meditation Ashrams in India, the United States and around the world traveling with her main teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. She has also spent hundreds of hours with some of the world's leading yoga teachers and Yoga Schools: among them Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and is an Anusara-Inspired™ Teacher with over 500hrs credit hours towards Anusara Yoga Certification, one of the most professional and demanding programmes in the industry of yoga teaching. Kanta’s classes are creative and dynamic and have a strong emphasis on breathing and alignment though always with a flow to keep the pace invigorating. The intention of every class is to cultivate strength, develop awareness and help students find balance, light-heartedness and rejuvenation within themselves. In her teaching she expresses her deep love and gratitude for yoga and her teachers and joyfully shares her lifelong experience and practice with her students. Lou Horgan

 
Lou began teaching in Yoga Dublin, Ranelagh a few months after its doors opened in 2004. She teaches all levels of yoga students and is particularly well known for her specialised knowledge of prenatal and women's yoga practices. Over 3,000 women have been through her prenatal yoga classes and almost 900 couples have attended her birth workshops.

Her Yoga classes on Wednesday and Friday mornings are regularly a sell out as she has developed a very loyal following of students who enjoy her accessible communication of yogic philosophy, breath work and enlivening posture. The cornerstone of Lou's classes, whether it's a morning level 2 vinyasa flow or a late evening prenatal birth preparation practice, is a deep faith in the body as our most valuable tool in connecting us to our true essence.

She has studied with some of the worlds greatest teachers and continues to do so in order to deepen her own understanding of this ancient art. Lou has two children and lives with her family in Dublin 8.

Olwyn Kearns

Olwyn discovered Yoga in 1997 the first class she ever took was a Rocket Yoga class at It’s Yoga in San Francisco with Larry Schultz they were still calling the class Ashtanga Vinyasa at the time. Although finding herself in an advanced class meant falling over even in basic standing poses she knew she had found what she was looking for.
Years of traveling the world followed; finding the best classes she could, she finally settled on a teacher training in India in 2004. The opportunity to live for a month in an Ashram was too tempting and so worthwhile. Moving on from there she continued her studies in New York with Shiva Rea, more at Jivamukti, back to India again and again and continued to emerge herself in many styles from Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Shadow, Anusara until now 20+ years later offering a style that brings out the best in all she has learnt. She still sees herself and probably always will as a student first. The seat of the teacher is not something she ever does or ever will take for granted.

Classes are always strong but safe encouraging students to bring out the best of themselves.

Luna Dolezal

Luna started practicing yoga in 1998 and has been teaching since 2004. She trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) in Santa Catarina, Brazil and has completed Pregnancy Yoga Teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in the UK and with Katie Manitsas in Sydney, Australia.
 
Luna currently teaches hatha yoga at Yoga Dublin Studios in Ranelagh and regularly teaches outdoor yoga in the beautiful Dartmouth Square. She also runs regular yoga retreats in unique locations around Ireland with the artist Fiona Hallinan www.fraochretreats.com 
 
Luna has been a dedicated Vipassana meditation practitioner since 2005. Influenced by her Vipassana meditation practice and her IYT training, Luna encourages students to ‘tune’ into their bodies in her classes, using asana, pranayama and meditative practices to develop corporeal awareness, inner sensitivity and an increased sense of physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
 
Luna also works as an academic philosopher in Trinity College Dublin.

Anto Kearney

 
Anthony teaches Ashtanga Yoga according to the tradition of Shri K. Pattbahi Jois, his son Manju Jois, and respected international Ashtanga teacher Nancy Gilgoff.

Lauren Bamford

Lauren teaches Pilates, yoga and hula hoop, pre and post natal. 
 
Back problems triggered by a modern corporate lifestyle were the starting point for Lauren's fascination with movement methods, natural wellbeing and journey into teaching. Because of this experience she is dedicated to empowering others to overcome issues and find greater life balance through practice and awareness.
 
Lauren has a warm hearted style of teaching and diverse range of clients. Her creative and enjoyable classes centre on core strength and precision alignment - strength from within.

Yoga

Originally apprenticing in a Bikram studio in 2007, she loves the heat but discovered a preference for building it from the inside. Studying in Canada, Europe and the UK, her style encompasses Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Kundalini. Connecting breath with movement; creating strength and freedom in the body; releasing tension from the spine.

 

Pilates

Studying with the Pilates Institute and the APPI, Lauren has a classical approach to Pilates: guiding clients in developing body awareness and good posture at all levels for effective and progressive core training.

 

Her learning grows through continuing studies and experience. Feeling gratitude for the adventure of life, great teachers, friends and connections.

 

Sibylle Dallmann

 
At the heart of every one of my classes lies the intention to inspire you to live life with courage, openness and integrity. It is my hope that each class in its own unique way will offer you a space to slow down, digest life and re-discover the ways in which your own potential is ready to express itself into life.
 
I believe in a supportive, down-to-earth style of teaching. My classes are slow, precise and meditative. They are physically challenging yet deeply nourishing. I place a high focus on integrating and refining movement, breath and attention to access and birth the beauty that lies within each and every one of us.
 
I am a student of yoga, philosophy and life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been teaching yoga for the past 12 years throughout which my approach has changed, grown and developed quite organically. However, what has never changed is my awe for life, movement, the human condition and the beauty that can be brought forth from it all.
 
I’ve co-created the 200hrs foundational yoga teacher training “The Art of Teaching” to help aspiring teachers develop their teaching skills and find their own voice of teaching. I host a range of national and international retreats yearly, called SOULFIRE, designed to help you digest life fully and get clarity on what’s truly important to you. I facilitate workshops for teachers and students nationwide with the intention to develop a more nuanced experience and understanding of the practice. I’m the author of “THE SUNDAY NUDGE” a selection of written word articles with the intention to help you transition your practice into your life off the mat.
 

Apple Yu

 
Apple was in search of a practice that would help relieve her bad back pain, after trying a few different things she found that yoga was the best solution. Ever since discovering yoga, she became addicted!

Her hobby grew into a passion and now after years of regular practice, she decided to turn her love into a profession and become a yoga teacher. She has successfully completed 200 hours training with Dave Curtis, and is certified as a Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher.
 
Apple has recently started practicing shadow yoga with Dave Curtis and Karen Watson, she is hoping that her own practice will in turn both fresh and challenging aspects into her classes.

Aoife Kane


Aoife believes yoga is a transformational practice that encourages the union of our mind, our bodies and our spirit. It gifts us the ability to question, discover and create in all aspect of our lives as we become more open to what wonders the universe holds.

She has been practicing different styles of yoga for over 15 years having come to yoga to help alleviate an illness. Teaching and sharing her love of the practice since 2009 she is a Certified Forrest Yoga Instructor and has the privilege of being in continuous training & development with her teacher Ana Forrest. Aoife has also completed trainings and workshops with Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Tiffany Cruikshank, Annie Carpenter and is certified with Yogacampus UK. She teaches Forrest Yoga, Forrest Inspired Yoga, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Power Vinyasa Yoga & Flow Yoga classes, workshops & retreats here in Ireland and internationally.

Her greatest intention is connecting to her spirit and shining light into the world hereby enabling others to do the same.

Samantha Lee Doyle

Sam is lover of movement. She's a yoga teacher, a rock climber, a cyclist and a gymnastics enthusiast. Her lifestyle supports energy, balance and grounding, she incorporates these elements into her Vinyasa Ashtanga Restorative and Yin classes.
She is genuine, approachable and inspired by her love of movement.
Her classes are challenging, dynamic and showcase her high energy but also explores restoring and meditation.
In 2014 Sam completed her 200hr Yoga teacher training certification from Yandara in Mexico. She has continued to add to this with courses and workshops in a variety of a Yoga styles. Also completing advanced Anatomy teacher training. She has an 11 year yoga practice and believe that yoga is a journey not a destination. 
Level 1-2 classes are for those with some experience of yoga – intermediate and more challenging poses are introduced but variations and modifications will be offered. If you are looking to move beyond your level 1 class, this is for you!
