Alexa has been a keen dancer and horse rider
growing up but came across Yoga and Pilates first
after a bad horse riding accident. At first it was only
a sports therapy to keep her spine moving.
It was only after years of personal practice that due
to more and more demanding job roles and general
stress she really found Yoga because it gave her a
really deep feeling of satisfaction, inner calm and
strenght.
Yoga was always one to come back to. You don't
need to excel in it, there's no competition, only
connection! It is calm and gentle or exhilarating and
tough work whatever you want it to be in the
moment. It gives peace when the mind goes nuts.
Then slowly Alexas perspective on life also changed
direction.
Since she travelled extensively to Greece for Yoga
Teacher Trainings for Hatha Yoga as well as Stand
up Paddle Yoga. She finished her Pilates Mat
Teacher Training with Sarah MacLachlann from
Pilates Performance Ireland and is a trained Swedish
and Thai Massage Therapist which she completed in
Dublin and Thailand.
She also teaches Aerial Hoop for Lisette Krol in Tribe
Fitness and Dance Studio.

She recently qualified in Buti Yoga to go a step back
to her roots and combine a powerful Yoga practice
with dance.

BUTI YOGA
Buti® Yoga is a soulful blend of Power Yoga, cardio-intensive Tribal Dance,
Conditioning Training and deep abdominal Toning. Buti® Yoga is a
trademarked style of Yoga created in 2010 by Bizzie Gold, a celebrity
trainer and wellness expert.
This all-in-one workout tones and sculpts the body while facilitating
complete inner transformation. The workout employs the Spiral Structure
Technique (SST), a signature strengthening technique introduced by Buti®
Yoga that activates all areas of your abdominal muscles by using spiral
movements, as opposed to linear ones. The integration of high intensity

Instead of linear movements, Buti Yoga favors movements that challenge
the body along all planes of motion. It is an all-in-one workout that tones
and sculpts the body while facilitating complete inner transformation
Buti Yoga is a Tribe of empowered women and men who support each
other in their quest for health and happiness.
The movement methodology is drawn from primal movement, tribal dance
and ancient yoga techniques to awaken the Shakti energy and free the
mind.
The integration of high intensity interval training movements and
plyometrics followed by a dynamic yoga pose make this class fun and
engaging from start to finish.
It is an open Level concept for every ability, gender and age groups but is
still physically and mentally challenging.
The movements in Buti® Yoga are typically paired to upbeat music making
you want to move.
The physical component of class will be 60 minutes, including a relaxing
phase (savasana) at the end.

Taking part in a Buti Yoga class can be an extremely fun and liberating
experience.
The group atmosphere will help spur you on to push your body to the limit
and to shed any inhibitions that are holding you back.
Buti Yoga is no walk in the park - anyone taking part in one of these
classes should expect to sweat buckets.
