Kanta Barrios

Kanta’s first experience of yoga was at the age of six in her hometown Mexico City. She spent 12 years as a long term resident student of yoga, meditation, and philosophy in Siddha Yoga Meditation Ashrams in India, the United States and around the world traveling with her main teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. She has also spent hundreds of hours with some of the world's leading yoga teachers and Yoga Schools: among them Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and is an Anusara-Inspired™ Teacher with over 500hrs credit hours towards Anusara Yoga Certification, one of the most professional and demanding programmes in the industry of yoga teaching. Kanta’s classes are creative and dynamic and have a strong emphasis on breathing and alignment though always with a flow to keep the pace invigorating. The intention of every class is to cultivate strength, develop awareness and help students find balance, light-heartedness and rejuvenation within themselves. In her teaching she expresses her deep love and gratitude for yoga and her teachers and joyfully shares her lifelong experience and practice with her students. Amy Charlie Savory

 
 
Amy is originally from London where she taught yoga and meditation to promote positive mental psychology.
 
Amy's interests include travel, photography, drawing meditation and standing on her head.
 
 

Samantha Lee Doyle

Sam is lover of movement. She's a yoga teacher, a rock climber, a cyclist and a gymnastics enthusiast. Her lifestyle supports energy, balance and grounding, she incorporates these elements into her Vinyasa Ashtanga Restorative and Yin classes.
She is genuine, approachable and inspired by her love of movement.
Her classes are challenging, dynamic and showcase her high energy but also explores restoring and meditation.
In 2014 Sam completed her 200hr Yoga teacher training certification from Yandara in Mexico. She has continued to add to this with courses and workshops in a variety of a Yoga styles. Also completing advanced Anatomy teacher training. She has an 11 year yoga practice and believe that yoga is a journey not a destination. 

Alex O'Brien

Alex came to yoga through a back injury and after several years developing a personal practicing began teaching in Italy. Like many, his passion for yoga was rooted in the physical benefits, before he discovered the benefits that yoga can have on the mind, body and spirit.

He went to Thailand in 2017 where he trained in Ashtanga yoga and completed his 200 YTT. He has since trained in Budokon yoga, a style which focuses on the transitions through the poses, combining strength and flexibility in a beautiful and energizing mobility-based flow.

His classes are designed to help you connect with your breath, your entire body and leave you feeling centered, energized and refreshed.

Lucybloom Webb

Lucybloom found Yoga many years ago while living a hectic lifestyle in London.  After years as a make-up artist in the demanding world of tv and film, she decided to spend some time in India and trained as a Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching ever since and continues to deepen her knowledge of both Yoga and Ayurveda.
 
Her style of teaching is heavily influenced by her own ashtanga practice - a strong vinyasa style. The focus of her classes is to use the breath as a focus to leave the overactive mind and drop into the body, encouraging you to seek your own truth beneath the chatter and influence of the mind.

Niamh P Pollins

Niamh is an avid yogi! She first started practicing yoga in 2011 but rediscovered her love for yoga in 2014 while living and working in New York. Yoga allowed her to switch off from the hustle and bustle that was New York. After two years of traveling and working abroad Niamh returned home to the Emerald Isle and completed her 200hrs RYT Training under the guidance of Sibylle Dallmann and Naomi Sturdy at Yoga Dublin.

Niamh has an invested interest in Human and Women's Rights. She is passionate about making the world a more peaceful place, and feels that yoga and meditation are important factors in achieving that goal.

Niamh’s classes are based on the belief that mental and physical health is interrelated and should be conditioned together. Her classes focus on all aspects of yoga, pranayama and Meditation. Join Niamh for some Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative based Classes!

Jess Oatway

 
Yogajess's journey was born out of work related stress and back pain! She was working in a stressful job and noticed that after sitting at her desk for 3 to 4 hours without moving, her back would really start to hurt. So she found a Vinyasa yoga class near to her work and started going…(religiously) ….every Monday. She was hooked!
 
She started to REALLY get stressed in work which was taking over in her downtime as well and noticed that during yoga practice her concentration and breathing were so focused and calm she would forget about work and her mind felt peaceful and spacious. The anxious feeling disappeared.
 
Jess decided she wanted to learn more about the practice, have it as part of her everyday life and to introduce other people to yoga. She trained to become a teacher and completed her YTT 200hrs under the tutelage of Sibylle Dalmain and Naomi Sturdy at Yoga Dublin.
 
She soon realised that while a lot of people knew about yoga and wanted to try it, there was a feeling of fear and intimidation to go to the first classes. Her goal is to take those fears away. You can expect to be pushed and to have a sense of achievement in Jess's class, feel calm and relaxed but still have fun and a laugh. At the end of the day, we all need to stretch, strengthen, laugh and bring a bit of zen into our hectic lives.
 

Joanna Collins

Joanna Collins was born in Dublin and spent her youth training in London. Her yoga practice stems from a dance background namely classical ballet, contemporary and modern, so her teaching is rooted in an innate and precise sense of physicality. She began to train in India in 2004 where she spent 2 years experiencing yoga as a way of life. Her main practice there was in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, practicing with V. Venkatesh (Atma Vikasa, Mysore) and V. Sheshadri (Mysore Mandala Shala). She gained a teacher training certificate in Yoga Education from Yoga Vidyha Dham Institution and then completed her teacher training in Los Angeles at the renowned Yoga Works studio in Santa Monica with her mentor Annie Carpenter www.Anniecarpenter.com

Joanna has been fortunate to study under many senior teachers including, Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, Erik Schiffman,Tias Little and David Swenson. In Dublin, Joanna has studied continuously with her teacher David Curtis and was apprentice to him on the Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training course in 2009.

Joanna is specifically drawn to the discipline of Vinyasa Flow Yoga because of the precise alignment and placement it demands on the body and its connection of breath with movement.

Now a mother of three, Joanna found how imperative her yoga practice was to her through the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood, and now also teaches both Pre and Postnatal Yoga and Mum and Baby Yoga.

Level 1-2 classes are for those with some experience of yoga – intermediate and more challenging poses are introduced but variations and modifications will be offered. If you are looking to move beyond your level 1 class, this is for you!
